Shortly after you schedule a session I will send you a questionnaire which helps me in determining what you look for in your photos, and helps me in my preparation. At the day of the session you will sign my contract and model release and I will accept the payment. Then we will have FUN!
At this point, no.
In my packages, 30 high resolution files are included. Often I process more, and you will in that case have the opportunity to choose the 30 images you want frmo a gallery, or let me choose them based on my artistic vision.
Any file above the 30 is an extra fee. It starts at $40 for 10 extra files.
Yes, at the day of the session you will need to sign my and your copy.Â
My sessions are between 1-2 hours. I will never rush you and am not satisfied until I get all the photos I want! Newborn sessions are usually 3 hours.
Of course! I understand that sometimes life happens :-) Just contact me 24hours before.
I do lighter retouching, such as taking away a bruise, an big pimple and boogers of children. I do not make people look thinner and take off wrinkles.Â
For portrait sessions the photos will be done within 2 weeks. I will post a sneak peek on Facebook page and blog after a few days.
I know that customers are anxious to see their images, I do however ask to not receive emails such as "when are they done?" unless its past the 2 weeks.Â
Maternity photos are best taken in the weeks 32-36 for a perfect round belly. Before it might not be big and round enough, and after you might feel to big and tired.
Unless you want an indoor session, I always recommend scheduling the sessions towards the end of day. 2 Hours before sunset. This is called the Golden Hour and gives beautiful soft, warm light! I know most kids might be crankier at the end of the day, but its worth it!Â
The great outdoors is my studio! I love shooting in natural light and what better place than outdoors! And being blessed with the weather in California do help alot.
We could also do indoor session in your home if you prefer that.
The session will be fun! For more timid children I take some time to warm up to them! I have several years of nanny experience and I love children!Â
I will direct you a bit, as where to walk and where the light is best. I try to make you just be yourselves and move how you want to. Some people need a bit more direction than others. I might ask you to talk to each other, tell some funny jokes, or close your eyes.Â
For children, I like to bring bubbles they can play with, and stickers.Â
Sometimes, sessions are pretty chaotic, but don't worry, the outcome is always great! I have a ton of patience and its important the parents have that too in order for the session to stay positive and fun.
There is no bad weather, only bad clothes. Thats a Swedish proverb.Â
Fog, clouds and sometimes even light rain - we cna go ahead with the session. However if it really rains or is too dark - we will reschedule!Â
